Our Scholars are Savvy
Traveling to conferences as first or sole authors, University of South Carolina graduate students will present their research throughout the world this year —including in Bangladesh, Switzerland, Austria, Great Britain, Ireland, Denmark, and the Netherlands—and across every region in the country, including Hawaii and the territory of Puerto Rico.
On the national stage USC graduate students excel as scholars and practitioners, winning fellowships and awards by outside agencies such as the NSF, Boren, and Javits. In 2012-2013 University of South Carolina was named a top Fulbright producer. The same year, faculty research brought in an unprecedented $238.3 million in research funding and sponsored awards.
