Thank you for your interest in the Master of Science (MS) Degree via video streaming (more on APOGEE - http://www.ce.sc.edu/StudentInfo/Apogee/index.html), Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of South Carolina. We offer five program areas of study: Environmental, Geotechnical, Structures, Transportation and Water Resources. Applications are accepted Spring/Summer/Fall. We are currently expanding the course offerings in Railway Engineering to meet the growing demands of the rail industry for workforce development. The APOGEE program is available only to applicants within the USA.

Required Documents
  • Written Statement of Intent, 1-2 pages in length. Clearly indicate the program area of interest and summarize the motivation to pursue graduate studies.
  • Curriculum Vitae to include: Education, General Research Interests, Publications, Computer Skills, Work Experience, Teaching Experience, Awards & Honors, GRE/TOEFL scores where applicable. Any additional information pertinent to your application.
  • Each applicant should submit at least two letters of recommendation.
  • The general Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required for all students entering the M.S. degree programs
  • Scores from the TOEFL exam are required from international students whose native language is not English
  • IELTS scores are accepted where TOEFL is not available.
