Registration

1. ACCESS SELF SERVICE CAROLINA

In order to register for classes, you will need to set up your Self Service Carolina account. This is the university's interactive website where you will manage your academic, financial, and personal information.

Please follow the four steps in order presented below. This will allow you to obtain the pieces of information needed for the following step.

2. BEFORE YOU REGISTER

  • Before you are able to register for classes, you must submit the following to remove registration holds:
  • Students seeking in-state tuition must establish proof of South Carolina residency.
    Note: Students with assistantships do not need to submit proof of residency to qualify for in-state tuition.
  • Refer to communication from your program to determine course selection or if advising is required before registration.

3. REGISTER

Self Service Carolina has a Registration window to open with multiple options to select. Start with "Look Up Classes" to view course offerings and proceed from there.
